The standing of this website’s contents — information, not advice.

General information only. The contents of this website are published by the Delhi Arbitration Centre for general information about the Centre and about arbitration, mediation and conciliation in India. They are not legal advice and are not a substitute for it. Statutes, rules and judicial decisions referred to on this website may be amended, overruled or superseded after the date of publication; parties should verify the current position and take independent professional advice before acting. Nothing on this website creates an advocate–client or other professional relationship.

An independent private institution. The Delhi Arbitration Centre is an independent, neutral institution registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, serving since 2011. It is not a Government body, a court, or a tribunal constituted by statute. Where this website refers to the Centre's empanelment as an ADR institution on the Online Dispute Resolution portal of the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, that statement may be verified on the Ministry's portal through the link provided; it denotes empanelment for the purposes of that scheme and does not make the Centre a Government undertaking, nor imply Government sponsorship of the Centre. Photographs and statements of public functionaries appearing in the policy-news section of this website are reproduced from official releases, with attribution, as reportage of public policy; they do not signify any endorsement of the Centre.

The panel. Members of the DAC panel — including Hon'ble former Judges — act, when appointed in a reference, as independent arbitrators, mediators or conciliators under the applicable law and rules. Their inclusion on the panel does not guarantee their availability for any particular reference, and this website's listing of the panel is not an advertisement of, or solicitation for, professional work by any individual.

No outcome is promised. Descriptions of statutory timelines, procedures and enforcement on this website state the legal framework; they are not a promise of the duration, cost or outcome of any particular proceeding, each of which depends on the dispute, the parties and the tribunal.

Calculator and documents. The Fees Calculator produces indicative figures; the notified Fee Schedules govern. In the event of conflict between anything on this website and the DAC Rules, the notified Schedules, or an order of a tribunal, the latter prevail. Documents downloaded from this website should be checked against their currently notified versions.

Caution against fraud. The Centre transacts only through this website's official payment gateways or by pay order / demand draft against receipt, and communicates only from its official email addresses and telephone numbers listed on the Contact page. The Centre never asks for payment into any personal account or UPI ID, and previously published bank-transfer details stand withdrawn. Any person or website soliciting payments or filings in the Centre's name otherwise than as stated here should be reported to the Registrar at [email protected].

External links. Links to external websites, including Government portals and official releases, are provided for convenience and verification; the Centre is not responsible for their content or availability.

Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Centre and its office bearers, employees and panel members accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on the general contents of this website. The rights and obligations of parties in proceedings administered by the Centre are governed by the parties' agreements, the DAC Rules and applicable law, and are unaffected by this Disclaimer.
